Ventana Gold Corp. holds rights to 4,573 hectares of exploration property in the historic California-Vetas mining district of Colombia. The Company’s exploration activities are currently concentrated on the high-grade La Mascota zone, within the Company’s flagship La Bodega property.

Ventana expects to report their first NI 43-101 compliant resource by the end of the first quarter of 2010.
